Breast Enlargement
(Augmentation Mammoplasty)
Procedure:
Enlarges the size of the breasts using gel implants (silicone).
It's usually done to enhance the upper body contour of a lady,
for personal reasons, feels that her breast size is small. The
procedure is also indicated -
- To correct reduction in breast volume after pregnancy.
- To balance a difference in breast size.
- As a reconstructive technique following breast surgery.
The size of the augmentation is decided by you. We will discuss
its feasibility, as well as consider the options that would be
appropriate for your body at the pre surgical consultation.
Duration of Surgery:
1 - 2 hours.
Duration of Results:
Variable. There is no evidence that breast implants cause cancer
or will affect fertility, pregnancy or your ability to nurse.
